Karangasem, the eastern-most regency in Bali. Anywhere you go in this region, lots of green nature surrounds the streets. Anywhere you travel, you will see Mount Agung as well. Mount Agung is the sacred and highest active volcano in Bali. Big temple ceremonies must ask for holy water from Mount Agung to complete the ritual ceremonies. The Salak fruit is the region’s mascot.
